With relatively little notice the US Bankruptcy Court increased various bankruptcy filing fees, including the fees to file bankruptcy. The new filing fees went into effect on November 1, 2011.
The new filing fees are:
- Chapter 7 Bankruptcy: $306
- Chapter 13 Bankruptcy: $281
